April 19th, 2011Heidi & Dave – Bristol & O Club
February 19th, 2011The sky was bright blue the day Heidi & Dave tied the knot at St. Mary’s Church in Bristol. The bride and groom had a Del’s lemonade stand on the church steps, which was a perfect addition to a really fun day.
Saila & Bharat ~ OceanCliff
November 15th, 2010
Saila and Bharat met at Brenton Point to see each other for the first time. The bridal party and their parents were all there to see the moment. This was my first Indian wedding and it was memorable. The colors were amazing and the traditions were beautiful. Saila was a stunning bride in both her wedding dress and red sari. Bharat is a lucky man! Both families were so happy all day and it was a pleasure to share in the celebration. The Indian priest was a character – he cracked everyone up as he explained the ceremony play by play. The ceremony went about an hour longer than scheduled and it was dark before we knew it. It made for great pictures as there was fire involved!
Joelle & Mark ~ Castle Hill
November 15th, 2010
Two families blended together when Mark and Joelle said their vows at Castle Hill. Joelle’s 3 girls were her bridesmaids, while Mark had his boys as best men. The girls were very cute, helping their mom get ready to walk down the isle. Family and friends enjoyed a perfect day, playing crochet and Bocce on the lawn. The Bay was filled with sailboats and the weather was perfect. The reception was fun and lively, with tons of kids partying and dancing the day away.
Ashley & Ben ~ Trinity & Rosecliff
September 14th, 2010
Ashley & Ben’s wedding was one of the pretty weddings I have photographed. The locations were the nicest Newport has to offer, from The Chanler, to the very famous and historic Trinity Church, to Rosecliff. Ashley’s Vera Wang dress was gorgeous and her Jimmy Choos sparkled beneath it. Ben’s family and friends came over from the UK so there were hats about which we never get to see! The ballroom at Rosecliff was done with a subtle elegance – all white flowers by Stone Blossom. The table markers were antique posters from Ashley and Ben’s travel around the world. Each poster had a bottle of booze from that country to match. Greg Kalamar, who is a live event artist, was there painting the wedding as it unfolded – pretty awesome to watch. As if the day couldn’t have been any more beautiful, there was a full moon (or at least it looked like it!) over the the Atlantic which lit up the lawn at Rosecliff.
Melanie & Michael ~ Belle Mer
August 3rd, 2010
Melanie and Michael’s wedding was possibly the hottest wedding day I have ever photographed. We started at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fall River, and then headed to Belcourt Castle for pictures, and then on to Belle Mer for the reception. The sun was out until we got to Belcourt Castle and it down poured. The castle actually flooded while we were upstairs taking pictures. The sun was back by the time we got to Goat Island where there was a massive cruise ship docked right in front of Belle Mer. Melanie and Michael hit the dance floor with the waltz and then surprised us all with the tango. It was awesome. These guys had everything from a digital photo booth to homemade cigars. The night was beautiful and guest got to kick back by the fire pit. The Black Tie Band kept the crowd going until late into the night when they convinced Melanie and Michael to break out the tango again. It was a great night.
Kristen & Jeff ~ Oceancliff
June 9th, 2010The whipping wind wasn’t enough to ruin a beautiful day at Oceancliff. The blue and white theme Kristen chose was a perfect fit for the sea side venue. The first dance couldn’t be over soon enough for Jeff – even with his beautiful bride by his side.
